The Joy of packaging art

I’m addicted to shopping small for myself and for others, I love the extra care and attention that goes into every item and its always such a surprise in the post and I know it comes from a place of love. It feels good to give a gift and also to support fellow creators and it brings me joy.

I know how important it is to be able to have something ready to gift and take care to make sure I’m thinking about the finishing touches to each item I send out, knowing that the experience of opening it and receiving it is all part of the wonder.

Every parcel I pack and send is treated as a gift, I will always pop in some extra surprises and get so excited putting it in the post! This is one of my favourite parts of being an artist. I love hearing when the work has been received and love to know that the attention to detail is enjoyed!

‘Received this print in the post today, such a joy, opening this was the equivalent to a tea ceremony, not just a package to open, but a journey to unravel. A reinforced envelope then coloured tissue bound and printed stickers revealing a plastic envelope containing stiffening card with the print itself and all this plus 2 beautiful printed cards… and the lino print itself is more beautiful than digital media can demonstrate’ Arik.

‘lovely earrings, beautifully wrapped and speedy delivery, thank you x’ Nancy

‘I love these stag lino prints. Arrived very quickly, wrapped up in lovely red tissue paper and with a handwritten note. What a lovely way to start my day’ Jane

‘A really beautiful, original print, fantastic to brighten up your home but also the kind of artwork you see different things in each time you look at it.

Beautifully and carefully packed with very nice touches, Thank you curiousinkyme! ‘ Sarah (Art chairs)
