Mindful gifting tips

How beautiful it is to be able to share positive energy with people you care about.

The best gifts are expressions of heartfelt connections, not necessarily ‘stuff’ or huge expensive gestures but things that have been given from the heart.

A well-considered gift shows someone you have really thought about them, you know their values, needs and what they care about. Being seen and heard is a powerful gift, and if we think about the intention behind the gift we can achieve that.

Some mindful gifting ideas

  1. A gift of togetherness, choosing to create, write, make a gift, talk about dreams and goals, or get out into nature.

  2. Write down all of the reasons you are grateful for someone, it could be a list in a well-chosen card, you could also include photos. This is a timeless gift that will last forever.

  3. A just because gift… a little message coming through the letter box at just the right time can show someone that you are thinking about them.

  4. Encourage those green fingers, A cutting from a plant or some seeded paper.

  5. Something crafted by a small business in your local community.

  6. A pre-loved book that they would love.

  7. A subscription or a course that they would be interested in.

  8. Wrap the gift with love and care, there is a joy to be had in the unwrapping.
