Commissioning a piece can be an incredibly enjoyable experience and easier than you might imagine.
The work starts life as a pen drawing, it is then scanned and the colour is added digitally to bring the portrait to life. Your artwork is sent to you as a high-quality digital download that you can print as many times as you wish and give to family and friends. You can see more examples of my work here.
You can also request a Fine Art Giclee print, these are professionally printed with archival inks on high quality archival fine art papers by a specialist so that you can ensure the work will always look as great as the day you received it.
THE PROCESS
1. Find an image you love that captures yourself or a loved one. Check that the image fits the 'great photo guidelines'.
2. Get in touch using the enquiry form, Look at the sizes and prices and let me know what you would like and if there's a specific colour theme you would like. You can also let me know if it's for an anniversary or birthday, with the date and I will try my best to accommodate this.
3. I will get back to you and we can start the creative process. If you would like to go ahead, I will get your time slot in the diary. There is a 30% non-refundable deposit and the remaining balance is paid on receipt of your artwork.
4. Your Artwork will take up to 2 weeks to complete, you will receive an initial watermarked digital file where you can request any small adjustments and make sure you are happy with the piece.
5. Once any final adjustments have been made, you will be sent the final JPEG high-resolution digital file. You can then use this to print as many times as you wish!
6. If you would like a Giclee print in addition to the digital file this takes an additional 5-10 business days for printing and shipping, this is completed by a specialist to ensure that it is the highest standard and archival quality.
