This original linocut print, "Gladiolus," is a striking celebration of this powerful flower. It's part of an ongoing project to create a "flower of the month" for each month of 2025. Hand-carved and hand-printed by me, this piece is created on natural Mulberry paper, which has beautiful plant fibres within it. The vibrant pink and yellow of the gladiolus really pop against the blue backdrop, creating a truly eye-catching piece.
 
The gladiolus symbolises strength, integrity, and honour. It is the birth flower for August, so this print makes a perfect gift for anyone born in that month or to celebrate a person with these special qualities.
